Like, there's this commuting and deviating through a waking city, and there's that short, focused trip surrounded by a blurred tunnel displaying only colours but lacking any real shapes or structures to perceive, only defined by a starting point, a destination and mere mechanics of getting from one to the other. (Odd considerations given the hour. Long corridor, slightly darker again. Empty rooms. A fan left running overnight, and the printer that has been demanding attention most likely for the same period of time. Arrivals, a bit too early but rather that than too late in a demanding morning.)
